about

Since his last release in July of 2013 (Neighbors), Karizma has been working on his newest project entitled Sober

Starting with the name itself, Sober, Karizma takes his lifestyle by the horns and mentions his struggles with being a freshman in college, being surrounded by drugs and alcohol, and staying clean through it all.

In earlier work Karizma explained problems with his friends and family and how alcoholism has ruined many relationships in his life. Rather than attacking the substance, he takes a different approach to the situation with his well-known sarcastic attitude and describes how being Sober has influenced his life, rather than bash how non sober people in his life have affected him

Newly turning 19, Karizma is finally beginning to gain attention in the Minnesota music scene, thanks to his Neighbors and a relentless passion to succeed no matter what the downers say.

Let's see where the journey goes from here; Sober, happy, and loving life.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done. When I say you, I literally mean YOU.
You have made this possible. The hard work and time I put into this is all for nothing if you don't press play, download the music, share the links, buy the shirts, come to the shows, give me feedback, and the countless other selfless things YOU do for me.
My name is Morgan Francis Parriott and I am the luckiest kid on this entire earth.
Thank you for supporting me and I cannot wait for what is to come. Karizma is that special thing that makes you unique. We all have it. We are Karizma, we are our Neighbors, and we stick together.
I would like to say that just because I choose not to drink, smoke or do any drugs, does not mean I am better than anyone. I am just like ya'll. I have made more mistakes and have hurt more people than most. The most important thing is that we make choices. No matter what you do to express yourself, I fully support.
Thank you for being you! I believe we all have a purpose that we need to fulfill while we are on this planet.
Mine is music. Hopefully my songs can give you that spark you need to get up each day and chase those dreams. Love ya'll my Neighbors

Track Name: Sober
I'm off meds, high. But I'm not dead. Why?
'Cus I cant die with my pants high on my waist
I got plans I cannot wait till your hands type I am great
On your blog sites and your twitter screens
All night as you're listening
You're like, "God, why didnt I give a shit?
In hindsight its the biggest mistake, I made
But fuck, I got Jameson, drink till I'm laying in
a snowbank my face is in.
Oh, I got pot too. Gah, screw you Kariz.
Off doing shows in area codes off grids.
Off with your tunes dog, you're not big, you're too soft.
Don't pop lids or do pot so stop it and move on!"

Hook:
So what I don't need what you do to feel free
Because I'm high as can be and I'm fine I'm complete
And I'm sober.
All day all night. I'm sober. Always alright. I'm sober
You keep on keepin. I'm sober. I dream, you're sleepin.
I'm sober

I'm not packing pills, Im off jacking Jill
It's old news I told you, I'm so through with the questions
"Why don't you roll up?" 'Cus I'd throw up I'm guessing
I'm a skinny ass with a tolerance of a walrus in the desert
I'm in all the cribs, when you call on Riz
it's probably just to "come get her"
'Cus she's shitfaced
Out of her pea-size of a brain
'Cus she thought that needle would feel good in a vein
Can't contain someway that drugs make me feel
I'm as crazy as a rapper trying to grab himself a deal
So before I go, I must state the facts
I cut weight so I must say that drugs taste like ass
Fuck, I'll take a pass
